How to Use

Dosage

For fungal infections in the mouth: 1 ml, 4 times a day. For fungal infections in the gut (adults): 5 ml, 3 times a day. For children and infants: 1 ml, 4 times a day.

Method

Shake the bottle well before use. For mouth infections, take after meals and keep the medicine in your mouth as long as possible before swallowing. For gut infections, swallow directly. For infants, the suspension can be given as drops or diluted with water and brushed on the mouth.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 4 ml for oral infections (for adults and children) and 15 ml for intestinal infections (for adults). Always follow your doctor's instructions.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Allergic skin reactions
  • Stomach problems like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea (especially with high doses)
RARE
  • Severe skin and mucous membrane changes (Stevens-Johnson syndrome)
  • Severe allergic reactions, including swelling of the face and throat (angioedema)
  • Widespread red, flaky rash with bumps and blisters under the skin, along with fever (AGEP)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to nystatin or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
  • This medicine contains methylparahydroxybenzoate, which may cause allergic reactions, possibly delayed.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C
