Method
This medicine is given as a drip (infusion) directly into a large vein through a small tube.
Important
The recommended infusion time for one bag is up to 24 hours. Your doctor will decide the exact amount.

Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to the active ingredients, eggs, peanuts, soybeans, fish, or any other component of this medicine.
- This medicine must not be given to newborns, infants, or children under two years of age.
- Do not use if you have a life-threatening circulation disorder, such as unconsciousness or shock with a heart attack or stroke.
- Do not use if you have a severe blood clotting disorder or a high risk of bleeding.
- Do not use if you have blood clots or fat blockages in your blood vessels (embolism).

- Do not use if you have unusually high blood sugar requiring more than 6 units of insulin per hour.
- Do not use if you have metabolic disturbances after surgery or injury.
- Do not use if you are in a coma of unknown cause.
- Do not use if your tissues are not getting enough oxygen.
- Do not use if your blood is too acidic (acidosis).
