Method
This medicine is given as a drip into a large vein, usually in a hospital.
Important
The maximum daily dose is decided by your doctor; one bag should be given over no more than 24 hours.

Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to the ingredients, eggs, peanuts, or soybeans.
- This medicine should not be given to babies or children under 2 years old.
- Do not use if you have severe heart problems, a recent heart attack or stroke, or life-threatening circulation issues (like shock).
- Do not use if you have severe bleeding problems, a high risk of bleeding, or blood clots caused by fat.
- Do not use if you have severe liver or kidney failure, or blocked bile flow.

- Do not use if you have major body fluid or salt imbalances, or too much water in your lungs.
- Tell your doctor if you have metabolic problems like high blood fats or sugar, or other severe metabolic disorders.
- You will be closely watched for signs of allergic reactions (like fever, chills, rash, or trouble breathing).
- This medicine contains a high amount of sodium, especially if you use more than one bag daily. Tell your doctor if you are on a low-salt diet.
