How to Use

Dosage

One tablet daily.

Method

Take one red tablet daily for 16 days, then one white tablet daily for 12 days, with a glass of water. Start a new pack immediately after finishing the previous one.

Important

One tablet per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Novofem if you have or have had breast cancer or any other estrogen-sensitive cancer.
  • Do not take Novofem if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding or untreated thickening of the womb lining.
  • Do not take Novofem if you have or have had a blood clot in your leg or lungs, or a blood clotting disorder.
  • Do not take Novofem if you have or have had a heart attack, stroke, or angina (chest pain due to heart problems).
  • Do not take Novofem if you have liver disease and your liver function tests are still abnormal.

  • Stop taking Novofem and contact your doctor immediately if you become pregnant, your skin or eyes turn yellow, or you have signs of a severe allergic reaction (like swelling of your face, tongue, or throat, or trouble breathing).
  • Stop taking Novofem and contact your doctor immediately if you have symptoms of a blood clot (e.g., painful swelling and redness in your leg, sudden chest pain, or trouble breathing).
  • Tell your doctor if you are having surgery, as you may need to stop Novofem 4-6 weeks beforehand to reduce the risk of blood clots.
  • Novofem is not a contraceptive and does not prevent pregnancy.
  • If you cannot tolerate some sugars (lactose intolerance), speak to your doctor before taking Novofem.
