How to Use

Dosage

Take 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening. Your doctor may sometimes tell you to take 1 tablet 3 times a day.

Method

Swallow the tablets whole with water.

Important

Do not take more than your doctor has prescribed.

  • Difficulty urinating

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Norflex if you are allergic to orphenadrine citrate or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have severe problems with your esophagus, stomach, or intestines, like blockages or severe ulcers.
  • Do not use if you have an enlarged prostate, glaucoma (high eye pressure), myasthenia gravis (a muscle weakness disease), or cannot urinate.
  • Norflex is only meant for short-term use.
  • Do not drink alcohol while taking Norflex.

  • This medicine can make you less able to drive or use machines safely.
  • If you have an intolerance to some sugars (lactose), talk to your doctor before taking this medicine.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category D

Avoid use in older adults. Anticholinergic. Significant adverse effects include confusion, cognitive impairment, xerostomia, tachycardia, constipation and difficulties to urinate.. Reduces the effectiveness of drugs for Alzheimer’s disease. (updated 16.9.2024)
