How to Use

Dosage

Take one 150 mg capsule twice a day.

Method

Take the capsules whole with water, about 12 hours apart, at the same time each day (e.g., one in the morning and one in the evening). Take them with food or right after a meal. Do not chew, open, or crush the capsules.

Important

Do not take more than two 150 mg capsules (300 mg total) in one day.

  • Brain disorder with symptoms like headache, vision changes, confusion, seizures, or weakness in limbs (PRES)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to nintedanib or any other ingredients in this medicine, or if you are pregnant.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had liver problems, or if you notice yellow skin/eyes, dark urine, stomach pain, or easy bleeding, as these can be signs of serious liver issues.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had kidney problems, or if you have a lot of protein in your urine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had bleeding problems, or if you take blood-thinning medicines.
  • Seek immediate medical help if you have severe stomach pain, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, or a hard/swollen belly, as these can be signs of a hole in your bowel. Also, tell your doctor if you have severe stomach pain, cramps, and bloody diarrhea, as these can be signs of bowel inflammation.

  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had heart problems (like a heart attack), or if you recently had surgery, as this medicine can affect wound healing.
  • Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, especially in your lungs, or if you have or have had an aneurysm (a weakened, bulging blood vessel).
  • Tell your doctor if you have pain, swelling, redness, or warmth in your arm or leg, as these can be signs of a blood clot.
  • Seek immediate medical help if you have a severe headache, changes in vision, confusion, seizures, or weakness in an arm or leg, as these can be signs of a serious brain condition (PRES).
