How to Use

Dosage

Take one 100 mg capsule twice a day.

Method

Swallow capsules whole with water, about 12 hours apart each day (e.g., morning and evening). Take the medicine with food or right after. Do not chew, open, or crush the capsules.

Important

Do not take more than two 100 mg capsules per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to nintedanib or any other ingredients, or if you are pregnant.
  • Tell your doctor right away if you get diarrhea, as it is important to treat it early.
  • Tell your doctor if you feel sick to your stomach or vomit.
  • Contact your doctor if you have unexplained yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, pain in the upper right side of your stomach, easy bleeding or bruising, or feel very tired. These can be signs of serious liver problems.
  • Tell your doctor if you have severe stomach pain, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, or a hard/swollen stomach, as these can be signs of a hole in the bowel wall. Also mention if you have had ulcers, diverticulitis, or use pain relievers (NSAIDs) or steroids.

  • Report severe stomach pain, cramps, and bloody stools or diarrhea, as these can be signs of intestinal inflammation from poor blood flow.
  • Tell your doctor if you have pain, swelling, redness, or warmth in a limb, as these can be signs of a blood clot in a vein.
  • Seek medical attention if you have chest tightness or pain, especially on the left side, pain in your neck, jaw, shoulder or arm, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, nausea, or vomiting. These can be signs of a heart attack.
  • Report any significant bleeding.
  • Tell your doctor if you have bruising, bleeding, fever, fatigue, and confusion. These could be signs of a blood vessel condition called thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA).
  • Inform your doctor if you experience headache, vision changes, confusion, seizures, or other nerve issues like weakness in an arm or leg, possibly with high blood pressure. These can be symptoms of a brain condition called Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome (PRES).
