How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose is one 100 mg capsule, twice a day, for a total of 200 mg daily.

Method

Take the capsules whole with water, about 12 hours apart, at the same time each day (e.g., one in the morning and one in the evening). Take them with food or right after eating. Do not chew, open, or crush the capsules.

Important

Do not take more than two 100 mg capsules (200 mg total) per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.
  • Tell your doctor if you have liver problems, or if your skin or eyes turn yellow, your urine turns dark, or you have pain in your upper stomach.
  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems or if tests show high protein in your urine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have bleeding problems or are taking medicines that thin your blood.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart problems, or if you feel chest pain, shortness of breath, or a fast heartbeat.

  • Tell your doctor if you have recently had surgery, as this medicine can affect how wounds heal.
  • Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, especially high blood pressure in your lungs.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had an aneurysm (a weak or bulging blood vessel) or a tear in a blood vessel.
  • Contact your doctor right away if you have severe diarrhea, vomiting, or feel very sick to your stomach.
  • Get medical help if you have severe stomach pain, fever, chills, vomiting, or a hard, swollen belly, as these could be signs of a hole in your bowel.
  • Tell your doctor immediately if you have severe stomach pain, cramps, or bloody stool or diarrhea, as these could be signs of bowel inflammation.
  • Tell your doctor if you have pain, swelling, redness, or warmth in an arm or leg, as these could be signs of a blood clot.
  • Watch for unusual bruising, bleeding, fever, extreme tiredness, or confusion, which could be signs of a rare blood vessel problem called TMA.
