How to Use

Dosage

Take 1 or 2 sprays when you would normally smoke or feel a craving. If one spray isn't enough after a few minutes, take a second. Most people use 1-2 sprays every 30-60 minutes.

Method

Aim the spray into your open mouth, between your cheek and lower teeth/gums. Press the top to spray. Do not breathe in or swallow for a few seconds after spraying. Avoid eating or drinking right after.

Important

Do not take more than 2 sprays at a time or 4 sprays per hour. The maximum daily dose is 64 sprays over any 16-hour period.

  • Difficulty swallowing, reduced sensation in the mouth

  • Allergic reactions with swelling of face and mouth (angioedema)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to nicotine or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you are under 18 years old.
  • Do not use if you have never smoked.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have had a heart attack or stroke in the last 3 months, or have chest pain at rest.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have heart disease affecting your heart rate, untreated high blood pressure, severe liver or kidney disease, diabetes, overactive thyroid, adrenal gland tumor, stomach ulcer, or inflammation of the esophagus.

  • If you get serious allergic reactions like swelling of your face, tongue, or throat, stop using this medicine and see a doctor right away.
  • Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children. Doses of nicotine that adults can handle can be very dangerous for small children and could be fatal.
  • If you are pregnant, it is very important to quit smoking. If you cannot quit without nicotine replacement, talk to your doctor before using this medicine. Avoid using this medicine while breastfeeding.
  • Do not eat or drink while spraying.
