How to Use

Dosage

Choose 4 mg gum if you smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day; otherwise, use 2 mg gum. Typically, 8-12 gums per day is sufficient.

Method

Chew the gum slowly until you feel a strong taste or tingling, then rest it between your cheek and gum. Chew again slowly when the taste fades. Continue this on-and-off chewing for about 30 minutes.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 24 gums.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to nicotine or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you are under 12 years old.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have heart problems (like chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or high blood pressure), diabetes, or have recently had a heart attack or stroke.
  • Avoid using this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as nicotine can harm your baby.
  • This gum can stick to or damage dental prostheses (false teeth).
