How to Use

Dosage

Typically, 8-12 pieces of gum per day.

Method

Chew slowly until you feel a strong taste. Rest it in your cheek until the taste fades, then chew slowly again. Repeat this for about 30 minutes.

Important

Do not take more than 24 pieces of gum per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to nicotine or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not give to children under 12 years old.
  • If you are 12-17 years old, talk to a doctor or pharmacist before use.
  • If pregnant or breastfeeding, try to quit smoking without nicotine replacement first. If not possible, talk to a doctor.
  • Talk to a doctor if you recently had a heart attack or stroke.

  • Talk to a doctor if you have heart or blood vessel disease (like chest pain, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure), diabetes, an overactive thyroid, or kidney or liver disease.
  • Seek immediate medical help if you have signs of a severe allergic reaction (swelling of face, tongue, or throat, hives, trouble breathing).
  • Be careful if you wear dentures, as the gum can stick to them and cause damage.
  • If you cannot stay smoke-free after one year of treatment, talk to a doctor.
