How to Use

Dosage

Apply one patch daily. The starting strength (10 mg, 15 mg, or 25 mg) depends on how much you smoke, as advised by a healthcare professional.

Method

Apply the patch to clean, dry, hairless skin on your body (e.g., chest, arm, hip) in the morning and remove it before going to sleep (after about 16 hours). Change the application site daily.

Important

Do not use more than one patch per day for a maximum of 16 hours.

  • Do not use Nicorette if you are allergic to nicotine or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use Nicorette if you have a widespread, long-term skin condition.
  • Talk to your doctor before using Nicorette if you have recently had a heart attack or stroke.
  • Talk to your doctor before using Nicorette if you have chest pain that occurs at rest or with little effort (unstable angina).
  • Talk to your doctor before using Nicorette if you have a heart disease that affects your heart rate or rhythm.
