How to Use

Dosage

Take two sprays in each nostril once a day. When symptoms improve, you can reduce the dose to one spray in each nostril once a day.

Method

Shake the bottle and blow your nose. Close one nostril, insert the nozzle into the other, tilt your head slightly forward, and spray once while breathing in through your nose. Breathe out through your mouth. Repeat for the other nostril. Clean the nozzle after use.

Important

Do not use Nenoxin nasal spray for more than three months without your doctor's approval. Do not use more than four sprays per day (two sprays in each nostril once daily).

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Headache
  • Sneezing
  • Nosebleeds
  • Sore nose or throat
  • Sores in the nose
  • Respiratory tract infections
RARE
  • Swelling of the face, tongue, or throat
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Hives (itchy rash)
  • Wheezing or difficulty breathing
  • Increased eye pressure (glaucoma) and/or cataracts, causing changes in vision
  • Damage to the wall inside the nose (nasal septum)
  • Changes in taste or smell
  • Blurred vision

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Nenoxin if you are allergic to mometasone furoate or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use Nenoxin if you have an untreated infection in your nose. Wait until the infection has cleared up before you start using the spray.
  • Do not use Nenoxin if you have recently had nose surgery or a nose injury. Wait until your nose has fully healed.
  • Nenoxin is not for children under 18 years old unless a doctor has prescribed it.
  • Talk to your doctor before using Nenoxin if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or planning to have a baby.

  • Tell your doctor if you have tuberculosis, any other infection, cystic fibrosis, or if you are taking other steroid medicines (by mouth or injection).
  • Tell your doctor if your immune system is weak or if you have been exposed to measles or chickenpox.
  • Contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or if they get worse.
