Nebivolol Orion is a medicine that contains nebivolol, a beta-blocker that widens blood vessels, used to treat high blood pressure and chronic heart failure in patients over 70.
The usual dose is one tablet per day, but your doctor may start you on a lower dose, especially if you are elderly or have kidney problems, or for heart failure.
Take the tablet whole or in parts with water or another liquid, once a day, preferably at the same time.
The maximum daily dose is 10 mg, which is 2 tablets.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Significant adverse effects include bradycardia, orthostatic hypotension and bronchial contraction..
