How to Use
Dosage

Method
This medicine is given as an infusion into a vein (intravenous drip) after being diluted with an infusion solution.
Important
The maximum daily dose is determined by your doctor to prevent overdose and is carefully adjusted based on your condition.

- •Irritation or inflammation of the vein where the infusion is given.
Important Warnings
- Do not use this medicine if your blood sodium or chloride levels are too high.
- Tell your doctor if you have very low blood potassium, heart failure, swelling in your arms or legs (general edema), fluid in your lungs (pulmonary edema), high blood pressure (hypertension), eclampsia (a condition during pregnancy with high blood pressure, seizures, and swelling), severe kidney failure, or too much acid in your blood (acidosis).
- Be especially careful if you are taking certain hormones (corticosteroids or ACTH treatment), as these can affect your body's fluid and salt balance.
