How to Use

Dosage

Spray 1 dose into each nostril, as needed, every 6-8 hours.

Method

Before use, blow your nose. Insert the nozzle into one nostril, press the spray, and breathe in gently while closing the other nostril. Repeat for the other nostril. Clean the nozzle after use.

Important

Do not use more than 3 times a day. For children aged 2-10, use for a maximum of 5 days. For children over 10 and adults, use for a maximum of 7 days.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to xylometazoline or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have high blood pressure, heart problems, an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism), diabetes, narrow-angle glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, or certain types of chronic dry nose.
  • Do not use if you are taking certain antidepressants (like tricyclic or tetracyclic antidepressants) or MAO inhibitors, or within two weeks of stopping MAO inhibitors. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
  • Do not use during pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, use only as directed by your doctor.
  • If your symptoms do not get better after 5 days (for 0.5 mg/ml) or 7 days (for 1 mg/ml), or if they get worse, see a doctor. Do not use for longer than recommended, as this can make your symptoms return or worsen.
