How to Use

Dosage

For adults and children 12 years and older: 1 spray in each nostril 2-3 times a day.

Method

Always blow your nose first. Remove the cap. For first use, spray a few times into the air until a fine mist appears. Hold the bottle upright. Tilt your head slightly forward. Close one nostril with your finger, insert the nozzle into the other, and spray quickly while breathing in. Repeat for the other nostril.

Important

Do not use for more than 10 days in a row. Not for children under 12 years.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Temporary burning or stinging in the nose.
  • Dry or irritated lining inside the nose.
  • Sneezing.
RARE
  • Nosebleeds.
  • Nausea, vomiting, dizziness.
  • Severe allergic reactions.
  • Headache.
  • Temporary vision problems.
  • Fast or irregular heartbeat.
  • Sleeplessness, restlessness, tiredness.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or any other ingredients. Do not use if you have had brain surgery through your nose or mouth, or if you have a specific type of glaucoma (closed-angle glaucoma).
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are very sensitive to adrenaline-like medicines (may cause sleeplessness, dizziness, tremors, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure), have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or an overactive thyroid.
  • Do not use for more than 10 days in a row. Using it longer can make your nose more stuffy and lead to dependency.
  • Do not use during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to be, talk to your doctor first. Use with caution if you are breastfeeding.
  • This medicine contains castor oil, which may cause skin reactions.
