Mycophenolate Mofetil Accord is a medicine used to prevent the body from rejecting a kidney, heart, or liver transplant.
Dosage varies by transplant type and age. For adult kidney transplant patients, it's typically 8 capsules (2 g) daily; for heart or liver transplant patients, it's 12 capsules (3 g) daily, divided into two doses. Children's dosage depends on body surface area.
Swallow the capsules whole with a glass of water. Do not divide, crush, or open the capsules. If the contents come into contact with your eyes, mouth, or skin, rinse thoroughly with water.
The maximum daily dose is 12 capsules (3 g), taken in two separate doses.
