How to Use

Dosage

For constipation, take 1 to 3 sachets per day. Most people take 1 to 2 sachets daily. For very severe constipation (faecal impaction), take 8 sachets per day.

Method

Mix one sachet with about 125 ml (half a glass) of water. Stir until the powder dissolves, then drink it. You can add fruit juice if you like.

Important

Do not take more than 3 sachets per day for regular constipation. For severe constipation (faecal impaction), do not take more than 8 sachets within a 6-hour period, for a maximum of 3 days.

  • Discomfort around the anus
  • Low sodium levels in the body

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Moxalole if you are allergic to macrogol, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use Moxalole if you have a blocked bowel, a perforated bowel wall, severe inflammatory bowel disease (like ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease), or a very enlarged and weak colon (toxic megacolon).
  • Stop taking Moxalole and tell your doctor immediately if you get swelling, difficulty breathing, feel very tired, become dehydrated (more thirst, dry mouth, weakness), or have heart problems.
  • Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years of age.
  • Do not take other oral medicines one hour before, during, or one hour after taking Moxalole, as it might make them less effective (e.g., epilepsy medicines). Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you take other medicines.

  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning to get pregnant, or think you might be pregnant, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. Moxalole can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
