How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose is 2 liters of solution. The package contains two clear sachets, each with an A and a B pouch. One pair of A and B pouches makes 1 liter of solution.

Method

Mix one pair of sachets (A and B) with 1 liter of water. Drink the first liter over 1-2 hours, a glass every 10-15 minutes. Then prepare and drink the second liter. You should also drink at least 1 liter of clear fluids (water, clear soup, pulp-free fruit juice, soft drinks, tea or coffee without milk).

Important

Do not exceed 2 liters of Moviprep Appelsiini solution for a single treatment.

  • Swelling of face, ankles, or other body parts (signs of a severe allergic reaction, stop use and see a doctor immediately)
  • Palpitations or irregular heartbeat (signs of a severe allergic reaction, stop use and see a doctor immediately)
  • Severe tiredness (signs of a severe allergic reaction, stop use and see a doctor immediately)
  • Shortness of breath (signs of a severe allergic reaction, stop use and see a doctor immediately)
  • Seizures (convulsions)
  • Flatulence (gas)
  • Temporary increase in blood pressure
  • Dehydration
  • Rupture of the esophagus due to vomiting
  • Very low sodium levels causing cramps
  • Changes in blood electrolyte levels (e.g., decreased bicarbonate, altered calcium, chloride, phosphate, potassium, and sodium)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have a blocked bowel, a hole in your bowel wall, problems with stomach emptying, or paralyzed bowel function.
  • Do not take if you have phenylketonuria (PKU), as this medicine contains a source of phenylalanine.
  • Do not take if your body doesn't produce enough glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
  • Do not take if you have toxic megacolon (a severe inflammation of the large intestine).

  • Tell your doctor if you have trouble swallowing, kidney disease, heart problems (including high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat), thyroid disease, dehydration, severe inflammatory bowel disease, or epilepsy/seizures.
  • This medicine should not be given to patients who are unconscious without medical supervision.
  • If you get sudden stomach pain or bleeding from the rectum during treatment, stop and contact a doctor immediately.
  • If you vomit blood, have chest, neck or stomach pain, trouble swallowing, or breathing issues while taking this medicine, stop and contact a doctor immediately.
  • Children and teenagers under 18 years old should not use Moviprep Appelsiini.
  • Do not take other oral medicines (like birth control pills) one hour before, during, or one hour after taking Moviprep Appelsiini, as they may be washed out and not work.
  • Do not eat solid food after you start taking Moviprep Appelsiini until your procedure is done.
  • If you don't have a bowel movement within 6 hours of taking Moviprep Appelsiini, stop drinking and contact your doctor.
