How to Use

Take one 25 ml sachet 1 to 3 times a day.

Drink directly from the sachet; you don't need to mix it with water.

Important

Do not take more than 3 sachets a day for regular constipation.

RARE

•Severe allergic reaction causing difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
•Allergic reactions, such as rash, itching, red skin or hives, and swelling of the hands, feet, or ankles.
•Headache.
•Abnormally low or high potassium levels in the blood.

COMMON

Do not use if you have a blockage in your bowel.
Do not use if there is a hole in your bowel wall.
Do not use if you have a severe bowel disease like ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, or a very swollen colon (toxic megacolon).
Do not use if you are allergic to this medicine or any of its ingredients.
Remember to drink enough fluids while using this medicine, as the medicine itself doesn't replace your daily fluid intake.

Some medicines, like those for epilepsy, might not work as well when taken with this medicine.
Do not take other oral medicines one hour before, together with, or one hour after taking Movicol Ready to Take.
If you use thickened liquids for swallowing, Movicol Ready to Take might make the thickener less effective.
Movicol Ready to Take contains sodium (salt); talk to your doctor if you are on a low-salt diet or use more than 3 sachets daily for a long time.
If you have heart problems and are treating fecal impaction, do not take more than two sachets per hour.
