Important Warnings

  • Do not use Movicol Orange if you have very severe constipation called fecal impaction.
  • Do not use if your doctor has told you that you have a blocked bowel, a hole in your bowel wall, a serious bowel disease (like ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, or toxic megacolon), or if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine.
  • Keep drinking plenty of other liquids while using this medicine. The liquid in Movicol Orange does not replace your normal water intake.
  • Some other medicines, like those for epilepsy, might not work as well if taken with Movicol Orange. Do not take other oral medicines one hour before, during, or one hour after taking Movicol Orange.
  • This medicine has ethyl and methyl parahydroxybenzoate, alcohol (ethanol), benzyl alcohol, and sodium. These can cause allergic reactions. Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, are pregnant, or breastfeeding, especially if you take 3 or more doses daily for a long time or are on a low-salt diet.
