How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose is one drop in each eye, but your doctor might tell you to use more if needed.

Method

Wash hands. Use a mirror. Dry eyes gently. Twist off the cap of the Minims unit. Gently pull down your lower eyelid and put 1 or 2 drops inside. Close your eye and blink a few times. Press the inner corner of your eye gently for 3 minutes to stop the liquid from going into your nose and throat. Repeat for the other eye if needed, then throw away the container.

Your doctor or eye doctor will tell you the maximum dose for you.

  • Redness
  • Increased body temperature
  • Difficulty urinating
  • Constipation
  • Increased heart rate
  • Temporary blurred vision

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to atropine sulfate or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have narrow-angle glaucoma (a condition where pressure in the eye can suddenly increase when the pupil gets larger).
  • Remove your contact lenses before using these drops. Wait until your vision is clear before putting them back in.
  • Your vision may be blurry after using the drops. Do not drive or use machines until your vision is clear again.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
