Methotrexat Accord is a medicine that slows down cell growth and reduces the immune system's activity, used to treat conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis.
Your doctor will decide your dose based on your condition. For adult rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, or psoriatic arthritis, the usual starting dose is 7.5-15 mg once a week. For acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and children, your doctor will specify the dose. Elderly patients usually receive a lower dose.
Take Methotrexat Accord by mouth once a week, on the same day each week. You can take it with or without food. Drink some water after taking the tablet to ensure you've swallowed the full dose.
Do not take more than your doctor prescribes for your weekly dose, and never take more than once a week. Taking too much can be deadly.
