COMMON
  • Stomach problems like feeling sick, throwing up, diarrhea, stomach pain, and not wanting to eat. These usually happen at the start of treatment and get better if you take the tablets with or right after food.
  • Changes in how things taste.
  • Low levels of vitamin B12 in your blood, which can make you feel very tired, cause a sore, red tongue, tingling, or pale/yellow skin.
RARE
  • Skin rashes, itching, and hives (raised, itchy red spots).
  • Abnormal liver tests or liver inflammation (hepatitis). This can cause tiredness, loss of appetite, weight loss, and yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice). If you see yellowing, stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor immediately.
