How to Use

Dosage

The usual starting dose is 10-30 mg per day, gradually increased to a typical daily dose of 60-120 mg. Your doctor will decide your exact dose.

Method

Take this medicine only by mouth. Never inject it, as it can cause serious harm or even death.

Important

Do not take more than your doctor has prescribed, and never take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Important Warnings

  • Do not give this medicine to children.
  • Do not drink alcohol or grapefruit juice while taking this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have breathing problems (like asthma or lung disease), or if you notice breathing pauses during sleep.
  • Tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney, or heart problems.
  • Tell your doctor if you have an underactive thyroid, enlarged prostate, a head injury, or high pressure in your brain.
