How to Use

Dosage

The usual starting dose is 10-30 mg daily. Your doctor will slowly increase the dose until withdrawal symptoms or overdose signs disappear. The typical daily dose is 60-120 mg.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Metadon Nordic Drugs if you are allergic to methadone hydrochloride or have severe breathing problems.
  • Do not use this medicine if you have taken MAO inhibitors (medicines for depression or Parkinson's disease) in the last two weeks.
  • This medicine can cause addiction and misuse, which may lead to life-threatening overdose.
  • Do not drink alcohol or grapefruit juice while taking Metadon Nordic Drugs, as they can cause serious side effects or change how the medicine works.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had heart problems, lung disease, liver or kidney disease, acute asthma attacks, or a head injury with high brain pressure.
