Mentixa is a medicine that helps improve memory and nerve signals in people with moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease.
The recommended daily dose for adults is 20 mg, taken once a day. The dose is gradually increased over four weeks to reduce side effects, starting with half a 10 mg tablet in week 1.
Take Mentixa by mouth once a day, at the same time each day, with water. You can take it with or without food. The 10 mg tablet can be divided.
The maximum daily dose is 20 mg.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Consider potential significant interactions. (updated 18.3.2024)
