How to Use

Dosage

For the first two weeks, use one vaginal tablet daily. After two weeks, use one vaginal tablet twice a week, with 3 or 4 days between doses.

Method

Insert the vaginal tablet into the vagina using the applicator. Do not take by mouth.

Important

The maximum daily dose is one vaginal tablet during the first two weeks of treatment.

Important Warnings

  • You are allergic to estradiol or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • You have or have had breast cancer, or cancer sensitive to estrogen (e.g., uterine lining cancer).
  • You have unexplained vaginal bleeding.
  • You have or have had a blood clot (in legs or lungs), a blood clotting disorder, heart attack, stroke, or angina.
  • You have or have had liver disease (with abnormal liver tests) or a rare inherited blood disorder called porphyria.

  • If you become pregnant while using Menovag, stop treatment immediately and contact your doctor.
  • Stop use and contact a doctor immediately if you experience migraine-like headaches, yellowing of skin/eyes (jaundice), swelling of face/throat, or a significant increase in blood pressure.
