How to Use

Dosage

Typically 75 to 225 IU (1 to 3 vials) daily, as directed by your doctor.

Method

It is given as an injection under the skin or into a muscle, after mixing the powder with a liquid. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 450 IU (6 vials).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to menotropin or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have tumors in the uterus, ovaries, breasts, or brain.
  • Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Tell your doctor immediately if you get severe stomach pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, weight gain, trouble breathing, or less urination, as these can be signs of a serious condition called ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).
