How to Use

Dosage

The usual starting dose is 16 mg three times a day, with daily doses ranging from 24 mg to 48 mg, split into two or three doses.

Method

Swallow tablets with water, preferably with or after food to lessen stomach problems. If taking multiple tablets daily, spread them evenly (e.g., morning, midday, evening) and try to take them at the same time each day.

Important

Do not take more than 48 mg in one day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Menisy if you are allergic to betahistine or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take Menisy if you have a rare adrenal gland tumor called pheochromocytoma.
  • Talk to your doctor before taking Menisy if you have or have had a stomach ulcer, as this medicine might cause stomach upset.
  • Talk to your doctor before taking Menisy if you have asthma, as your symptoms might get worse.
  • Talk to your doctor before taking Menisy if you have allergies like hives or a runny nose, as your symptoms might get worse.

  • Talk to your doctor before taking Menisy if you have low blood pressure.
  • Menisy is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all other medicines you are taking, especially antihistamines and MAO inhibitors (used for depression or Parkinson's disease).
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not take Menisy unless your doctor says it is absolutely necessary.
