How to Use

Dosage

The dose starts with half a 10 mg tablet once daily for the first week, gradually increasing to two 10 mg tablets once daily from the fourth week onwards.

Method

Take the tablets orally once a day with a glass of water, regularly at the same time each day, with or without food.

Important

The maximum recommended daily dose for adults is 20 mg (two 10 mg tablets) once daily.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to memantine or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have ever had epileptic seizures.
  • Tell your doctor if you recently had a heart attack, or if you have uncontrolled heart failure or high blood pressure.
  • If you have kidney problems, your doctor will monitor your kidney function and adjust the dose if needed.
  • Avoid taking this medicine with amantadine (for Parkinson's), ketamine (an anesthetic), dextromethorphan (for cough), or other similar medicines.

  • Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
  • Do not breastfeed while taking this medicine.
  • This medicine may affect your reaction time, so driving or operating machinery is not recommended.
