How to Use

Dosage

For adults and adolescents over 14 years: for 0.8 mg/ml solution, take 10 ml three times daily; for 1.6 mg/ml solution, take 5 ml three times daily. For children, follow doctor's instructions.

Method

Take the oral solution using the provided measuring device. Clean the device after each use.

Important

For 0.8 mg/ml solution, do not exceed 60 ml per day (20 ml three times daily). For 1.6 mg/ml solution, do not exceed 30 ml per day (10 ml three times daily). Do not use for more than 5 days without consulting a doctor.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Nausea
  • Upper abdominal pain
  • Hypersensitivity reactions (allergic reactions)
  • Rash, hives
  • Temporary increase in liver enzyme levels
  • Severe allergic reactions (anaphylactic reactions, including shock), angioedema (sudden swelling of the skin, tissues, mucous membranes) and itching
  • Severe skin reactions (such as erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, and acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis)
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing (bronchospasm)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to bromhexine hydrochloride or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have a hereditary fructose intolerance.
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Medipekt if you have had a stomach or duodenal ulcer.
  • Stop using Medipekt and contact a doctor immediately if you develop a rash, especially with sores in the mouth, throat, nose, eyes, or genitals.
  • Do not use Medipekt during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

  • For children under 6 years, use only as prescribed by a doctor. Medipekt 1.6 mg/ml is not for children under 2 years.
  • Contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve quickly or worsen after 5 days.
