Method
This medicine is given as an injection into the skin, near nerves, or into the lower spine area, depending on which part of your body needs to be numbed. For children, it is a slow injection into the epidural space or other body parts.

Possible Side Effects
COMMON

RARE

Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to bupivacaine, adrenaline, sodium metabisulfite, or any other ingredients in this medicine or similar local anesthetics.
- This medicine with adrenaline should not be used for certain nerve blocks in areas with end arteries (like penis block) where the numbing affects a small area supplied by main arteries.
- Tell your doctor about any heart, liver, or kidney problems you have, and all other medicines you are taking, including any regular medications.
- Do not drive or use machines until the day after your surgery, as this medicine can temporarily affect your reactions and muscle control.
- This medicine contains sodium metabisulfite, which can cause severe allergic reactions and breathing problems.
