How to Use

Dosage

The dosage is individual and depends on your symptoms and response to the medicine. Your doctor will determine the daily dose and frequency.

Method

Take Madopar half an hour before meals or one hour after meals. Swallow tablets whole, or dissolve the dispersible tablet in water before taking. Depot capsules should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid.

Important

Your doctor will adjust the dose gradually until the right dose is reached.

Important Warnings

  • Tell your doctor if you develop unusual urges or compulsive behaviors (such as gambling, overeating, or excessive sexual activity).
  • Be careful when driving or operating machinery, as Madopar can cause drowsiness or sudden sleep attacks.
  • Do not stop taking Madopar suddenly, as this can cause dangerous side effects.
