How to Use
Dosage
Take one white active tablet for 21 days, followed by one green inactive tablet for 7 days.
Method
Take one tablet at approximately the same time each day with some water, following the arrows on the blister pack.
Important
Do not exceed one tablet per day.

- •Skin nodules resembling bruises (erythema nodosum), or a rash with red, irregular spots (erythema multiforme)
- •Milky discharge from nipples, changes in vaginal discharge
- •Weight loss
Important Warnings
- This medicine slightly increases your risk of blood clots, especially during the first year or if you restart it after a break of 4 weeks or more. Seek medical attention if you suspect a blood clot.
- Lumivela does not protect against HIV (AIDS) or other sexually transmitted diseases.
- Seek immediate medical help if you experience swelling of your face, tongue, or throat, or hives with breathing difficulties, as these could be signs of a serious allergic reaction called angioedema.
- Do not use Lumivela if you have Hepatitis C and are taking certain medications (like those containing ombitasvir, paritaprevir, ritonavir, dasabuvir, glecaprevir, pibrentasvir, sofosbuvir, velpatasvir, or voxilaprevir).
- Combined birth control pills are linked to a slightly higher risk of breast cancer. Very rarely, liver tumors may occur; contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe stomach pain.
