How to Use

Dosage

Adults and children over 6 years old, weighing more than 30 kg: Take 1 tablet once a day. If you have severe liver problems, your doctor or pharmacist might advise you to take the recommended dose every other day.

Method

Take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. The tablet has a score line to help you break it if you have trouble swallowing it whole.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 1 tablet (10 mg).

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to loratadine or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have liver disease.
  • If you are going to have allergy skin tests, do not take Loratadine Accord for two days before the tests, as it can affect the results.
  • Do not give Loratadine Accord to children under 6 years old or to children weighing 30 kg or less. It is not recommended for children under 2 years old.
  • Avoid using Loratadine Accord during pregnancy as a precaution. Do not take if you are breastfeeding, as loratadine passes into breast milk.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Concurrent use with clopidogrel can increase loratadine and desloratadine level. (updated 19.9.2025)
