How to Use

You will inhale up to 5% carbon dioxide as part of a breathing gas mixture.

This medicine is given by breathing it in, only under the direct supervision of a doctor. Always follow your doctor's instructions.

Important

This medicine is used for a single, controlled test. Do not exceed the maximum 5% concentration as a breathing gas.

RARE

Do not use this medicine if your airways are blocked (you cannot breathe properly).
Do not use if you have certain heart or blood vessel problems, such as a heart attack or stroke in the last 3 months, untreated high blood pressure, a widened main artery (aortic aneurysm), recent eye surgery, or a risk of increased pressure in your brain.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy, as this medicine is not recommended during pregnancy and there's not enough information about its safety during breastfeeding.
This medicine can seriously affect your ability to drive or use machines. Your doctor will tell you when it's safe to do these activities again.
If you take too much, you might get a headache, feel confused, have a fast heartbeat, high blood pressure, trouble breathing, feel tired or dizzy, pass out, have changes in how your heart works, or have seizures.
