How to Use

Dosage

Apply one patch every 12 hours.

Method

Apply the patch to clean, dry, and unbroken skin, making sure it is smooth without wrinkles.

Important

A maximum of two patches per day, for no more than 7 days.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Skin inflammation, skin redness, itching, warmth, rash, pimples, pustules, or wheals.
RARE
  • Hypersensitivity reactions, local allergic reactions (contact dermatitis).
  • Skin swelling.
  • Sensitivity to light (photosensitivity).

Important Warnings

  • If you get a rash, remove the patch immediately and stop using it.
  • Do not use a bandage to hold the patch in place.
  • If you have asthma or allergies, you might experience breathing difficulties.
  • Avoid direct sunlight or tanning beds on the treated area during treatment and for two weeks after removing the patch.
  • Do not use Lixim if you are allergic to etofenamate or other anti-inflammatory drugs, or if you have had asthma, breathing problems, or rashes from them.

  • Do not apply to damaged skin (e.g., wounds, burns, infections, or eczema).
  • Do not use during the last three months of pregnancy.
  • Avoid getting the patch on your eyes, lips, or mucous membranes.
