How to Use

Dosage

Typically, 1 drop in each eye twice a day.

Method

Shake the bottle well. Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid, and gently squeeze one drop into the inner corner of each eye. Do not touch your eye with the bottle tip.

Important

Do not use more than 1 drop in each eye 3-4 times a day. For children under 4, use only as prescribed by a doctor.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Eye irritation, eye pain, conjunctivitis, swollen eyelids, swollen eyes, eyelid inflammation, red eyes
  • Burning, irritation, redness, itching, pain, swelling, watery eyes, or blurred vision at the application site
  • Skin irritation at the contact site, hives
  • Headache
  • Palpitations

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to levocabastine or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • If you experience a severe allergic reaction with swelling of lips, tongue, or eyelids, hives, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical attention.
  • Remove contact lenses before using Livostin and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in, as it may stain soft contact lenses.
  • Be careful when driving or operating machinery right after using this medicine, as it may temporarily cause eye irritation, pain, swelling, itching, redness, burning, watery eyes, or blurred vision.
  • If you have a severely damaged cornea (the clear layer at the front of your eye), phosphates in the eye drops can very rarely cause cloudy spots due to calcium build-up during treatment.
