Lipcut reduces "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides in the blood and increases "good" cholesterol (HDL).
The usual starting dose is 10 mg or 20 mg once daily.
Take one tablet in the evening, with or without food.
Do not exceed 80 mg per day.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Possible adverse effects include muscle pain and muscular weakness. Consider potential interactions. Avoid grapefruit. (updated 17.4.2023)
