Librax is a medicine used to help with stomach problems, digestive issues, and to reduce bladder spasms.
Adults usually take 1-2 tablets, 2-4 times a day. Elderly or weak patients should start with 1-2 tablets once a day.
Take the tablets about half an hour before meals with plenty of water or other liquid. You can also take them at bedtime or for pain.
Do not take more than your doctor has prescribed, typically up to 8 tablets per day for adults, and up to 2 tablets per day for elderly or weak patients.
Avoid use in older adults. Anticholinergic. Significant adverse effects include impaired cognition and orthostatic hypotension. Reduces the effectiveness of drugs for Alzheimer’s disease. (updated 20.5.2024)
