How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will determine your exact dose based on your tests; generally, you'll start with a low dose that is slowly increased. For infants with congenital hypothyroidism, the starting dose can be 10–15 micrograms per kg for the first 3 months.

Method

Take one tablet daily in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before breakfast, with a small amount of liquid, like half a glass of water. For infants, the tablet should be crushed and mixed with a small amount of water just before their first meal.

Important

Your doctor will determine your maximum daily dose; do not take more than prescribed, as higher doses can cause serious side effects.
