How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will decide your dose individually, starting low and gradually increasing it.

Method

Take the oral solution by mouth, usually once a day.

Important Warnings

  • If you are allergic to levomethadone or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • If you are taking or have taken certain medicines for depression or Parkinson's disease (MAO inhibitors) within the last 2 weeks.
  • If you have severe breathing or lung problems.
  • If you are dependent on substances other than opioids.
  • This medicine must never be injected, only taken by mouth, as injection can cause serious and life-threatening harm.

  • Talk to your doctor if you experience weakness, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, or low blood pressure, as these could be signs of adrenal gland problems.
