Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to levomethadone or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you are using or have used MAO inhibitors (for depression or Parkinson's disease) in the last two weeks.
  • Do not take if you have severe breathing or lung problems.
  • Do not take if you are dependent on non-opioid drugs.
  • This medicine is stronger than methadone, so always follow your doctor's dose exactly to avoid overdose.

  • Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding or planning to, as this medicine may affect your baby. Watch for unusual sleepiness, breathing problems, or limpness in your baby.
  • Repeated use of this opioid medicine can lead to tolerance, dependence, and addiction, which can cause life-threatening overdose.
  • This medicine can cause sleep-related breathing problems, such as pauses in breathing during sleep (sleep apnea) and low oxygen levels in the blood.
  • Talk to your doctor if you experience weakness, tiredness, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, or low blood pressure, as these could be signs of a problem with your adrenal glands.
  • This medicine contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), which may cause allergic reactions, possibly delayed.
  • This medicine contains glycerol (E422). If your dose requires more than 55 ml, the total glycerol intake might exceed 10g per dose, which can cause headache, stomach upset, and diarrhea.
