How to Use
Dosage
Your doctor will decide your dose individually. Treatment starts with a low dose that is gradually increased.
Method
Levopidon is taken by mouth. It must never be injected.
Important
Take only the dose prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day. Do not exceed this dose.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •nausea

- •feeling of euphoria
- •visual or auditory hallucinations
- •drowsiness
- •pinpoint pupils
- •constipation
- •rash
- •sweating
- •fatigue
- •weight gain
RARE
- •slowed heart rate
- •feeling of heart palpitations
- •heart problems (especially with high doses)
Important Warnings
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to levomethadone or any of its other ingredients.
- Do not take this medicine if you are using certain antidepressant or Parkinson's medications (MAO inhibitors) or have used them within the last two weeks.
- Do not take this medicine if you have severe breathing or lung problems.
- Do not take this medicine if you are dependent on non-opioid drugs.
- Do not use other addiction treatment medications during Levopidon treatment, except for overdose management.
