How to Use

Dosage

  • Do not take Levopidon if you are allergic to levomethadone or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are currently taking or have recently taken (within the last 2 weeks) certain medicines for depression or Parkinson's disease called MAO inhibitors.
  • Do not take this medicine if you have severe breathing problems or serious lung conditions.

  • Do not drink alcohol or grapefruit juice while taking this medicine, as it can cause serious side effects or change how the medicine works.
  • Do not drive or use machines while on this medicine, as it can make you sleepy and less alert.
  • This medicine can cause sleep-related breathing problems; if you notice pauses in breathing during sleep or extreme daytime sleepiness, tell your doctor.
  • Taking this medicine with sedatives can cause severe drowsiness, breathing problems, and coma, which can be life-threatening. Tell your doctor about all sedatives you are taking.
  • Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor, as it can cause withdrawal symptoms. Your doctor will help you stop safely and gradually.
  • Keep this medicine out of reach and sight of children, as even a very small amount can be dangerous for them.
  • Children and teenagers under 18 years old should not take this medicine.
