How to Use

Dosage

Take one tablet as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours and no later than 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected intercourse.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew it.

Important

Normally one tablet. In specific cases, such as when taking certain other medications, your doctor or pharmacist may advise you to take two tablets at once.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to levonorgestrel or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are already pregnant. It will not work if you are already pregnant, and it will not terminate a pregnancy.
  • Talk to a doctor before use if you have a small intestine disease, severe liver problems, a history of ectopic pregnancy, or fallopian tube inflammation.
  • This medicine is for emergency contraception only and should not be used as a regular birth control method.
  • This medicine does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. Only condoms can do that.

  • If you vomit within 3 hours of taking the tablet, take another tablet immediately.
  • If you are breastfeeding, take the tablet immediately after feeding and avoid breastfeeding for at least 8 hours.
