How to Use

Dosage

Take one tablet.

Method

Take one tablet once daily at the same time each day. You can take it with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Important

The maximum daily dose is one tablet.

  • Bone thinning or weakening (osteoporosis), which can lead to fractures
  • Swelling in arms, hands, feet, and ankles
  • Depression
  • Weight gain
  • Hair loss
  • High blood pressure
  • Abdominal pain
  • Dry skin
  • Vaginal bleeding
RARE
  • Weakness, paralysis, or loss of sensation in any body part (especially arms or legs), impaired coordination, nausea, difficulty speaking or breathing (signs of brain damage, e.g., stroke)
  • Sudden, crushing chest pain (symptom of heart problems)
  • Swelling, redness, or severe tenderness along a vein, possibly painful to touch (sign of blood clot)
  • High fever, chills, or mouth sores due to infections (signs of low white blood cells)
  • Severe, prolonged blurred vision
  • Difficulty breathing, chest pain, fainting, rapid heartbeat, bluish skin, or sudden arm, leg, or foot pain (signs of a blood clot)
  • Tendon rupture (tendons are connective tissues that connect muscles to bones)
  • Nervousness, anxiety, irritability, drowsiness, memory problems, sleepiness, difficulty sleeping
  • Pain or burning sensation in hands or wrists (carpal tunnel syndrome)
  • Reduced sensation, especially sensitivity to touch
  • Eye problems, such as blurred vision, eye irritation
  • Skin disorders, such as itching (hives)
  • Vaginal discharge or dryness
  • Breast pain
  • Fever
  • Thirst, taste disturbances, dry mouth
  • Dry mucous membranes
  • Weight loss
  • Urinary tract infection, increased urination frequency
  • Cough
  • High enzyme levels
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes
  • High bilirubin levels (a breakdown product of red blood cells)
  • Tendon inflammation (tendonitis)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to letrozole or any other ingredients.
  • Do not take if you still have periods (have not gone through menopause).
  • Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Tell your doctor if you have severe kidney or liver disease.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had osteoporosis (weak bones) or broken bones.

  • If you experience tendon pain or swelling, rest the area and contact your doctor.
  • This medicine is not for children or adolescents under 18 years old.
  • Do not drive or use machines if you feel dizzy, tired, sleepy, or generally unwell.
  • This medicine contains lactose (a type of sugar). If your doctor has told you that you have a sugar intolerance, talk to them before taking this medicine.
