How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose is one Letrozole Hexal tablet once a day.

Method

Take Letrozole Hexal at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

  • Fast or pounding heartbeat
  • Stiff joints (arthritis)
  • Chest pain
RARE
  • Weakness, paralysis, or loss of feeling in a body part (like an arm or leg), trouble with coordination, nausea, or problems speaking or breathing (signs of a stroke)
  • Sudden, crushing chest pain (signs of heart problems)
  • Swelling, redness, or tenderness along a vein (signs of a blood clot)
  • High fever, chills, or mouth sores from infection (signs of low white blood cells)
  • Severe, long-lasting blurred vision
  • Tendon inflammation (tendinitis)
  • Trouble breathing, chest pain, fainting, fast heartbeat, bluish skin, or sudden pain in an arm or leg (signs of a blood clot)
  • Tendon rupture
  • Nervous feelings (anxiety, nervousness, irritability, lethargy, memory problems, drowsiness, insomnia)
  • Pain or burning in hands or wrists (carpal tunnel syndrome)
  • Changes in how things feel, especially touch
  • Eye problems (blurred vision, eye irritation)
  • Skin problems (itching, hives)
  • Vaginal discharge or dryness
  • Breast pain
  • Fever
  • Thirst, changes in taste, or dry mouth
  • Dry mucous membranes
  • Weight loss
  • Urinary tract infection or frequent urination
  • Cough
  • High enzyme levels
  • Yellow skin or eyes
  • High bilirubin levels (a substance from red blood cells)
  • Trigger finger (a finger or thumb that locks in a bent position)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to letrozole or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you still have periods, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
  • Tell your doctor if you have severe kidney or liver disease, or a history of weak bones (osteoporosis) or bone fractures.
  • If you experience tendon pain or swelling, rest the affected area and contact your doctor.
  • This medicine should not be used by children or adolescents.
